1. The petition for rehearing en banc was rejected on October 13, 2016.
2. Two amicus curiae brief of the Society Dissemination of Historical Fact (SDHF) and
the Nippon Today’s Researchers Society (KINGEN) were granted
by the Appeals for the Ninth Circuit on October 4, 2016.
Both assist the appeal of GAHT in denying totally and explicitly with the due documented evidences
the allegations of the City of Glendale - the defendant-appellee.
The city claims, by a statue installed at the Central Park of her city, the government of Japan/Japanese, the city insists without any due evidence, "an acceptance of war crimes against comfort women
who were enslaved by the military of Japan during the war".
3. GAHT filed PETITION FOR REHEARING EN BANC with the Appeals of the Ninth Circuit on September 16,
instead of asking the Federal Supreme Court directly.
